from farm to table, the food is fresh and well prepared. If you like organic fresh food, Sweetgrass has something for everybody including vegetarians. the staff is delightful and the atmosphere is conducive to a good dining experience.

Very pretty and slightly trendy looking spot on Tarrytown's extraordinary recently restored to Victorian main street. Pleasant and casual, if chatty, atmosphere which belies the high end prices for both appetizers and entrees. Menu selections are few and tasty, albeit one afternoon's menu of mushroom soup and swiss chard ravioli with only very ordinary teas and one reg/decaf coffee option too meager a choice for high end price on this street.

A change in chefs and the menu, but not necessarily for the better, as we found out in our fourth time there. I ordered durade, the wife ordered arctic char, which came with curried chickpeas. Mine was lacking seasoning, though the fish was well-cooked. My wife said hers was nothing she couldn't make at home. How true. The thyme mousse was devoid of any taste. After complaining, they comped the beers, for which they have a great selection.

I've been to Sweet Grass many times. What is disconcerting is that ordering the very same dish can be great or terribly disappointing. I've had that experience with very simple preparations, like a goat cheese salad, and cannot imagine how they could mess that up. I want this restaurant to get it's act together, because when it's good it's very good, but when it's bad it's horrid.

Nice restaurant but stay away if you have any diet restrictions. The waiters don't seem to know the ingredients in the dishes they serve.

Very tasty and nicely prepared local food. Went there for lunch menu which was a bit pricey for lunch.

Very popular, crowded and noisy but excellent food at very reasonable prices. Menu is not huge but food of superior quality. Relaxed and casual. Try on a week night.

The food is great but the service is very uneven. Sometimes really good, but sometimes pretty bad

One of my favorite cafes to go for lunch! The food feels like it was taken from the farm straight to the kitchen. Great place to take a vegetarian friend because of all the options
