Possibly the only restaurant serving wild game in all of Putnam County. Friendly service, even the chef talked to us at length. Dishes are elegantly prepared and delicious. The place to go if you are looking for an adventurous dining experience (my husband and I tried antelope on our visit).

Only went once and the food was fine. They have good specials during the week. The ambiance is rather staid.

I think the last reviewer went on an off night. I have been going to Marco's for 15 years and have never had a bad experience. Owner/Chef Mark offers one of the best "fine dining" values in Westchester/Putnam. Don't forget this is in Putnam County, where "laid back" service isn't the same as not paying attention. No one is rushing you out. If you want something, ask. If you want a relaxed, no-pressure upscale meal, give it a try.

Disappointing. Limited menu offers only few wild game dishes and seems confused as to whether it wants to be a small plate or regular ala carte menu. Portions could be more generous. Preparation could use more attention and less pretension. Wait staff is friendly but needs more polish (e.g., don't disappear for prolonged periods) and more knowledge of what the kitchen and bar are doing. Cocktail prices are very high.

In a town where there is a pizza parlor and Chinese restaurant on every corner.....Marco's is a unique find in Putnam County. If you're looking to dine New York City style.....come to Marcos....The service, ambiance and especially the quality of food is outstanding. There isn't a restaurant like Marco's in a 30 mile radius. I have and will continue to recommend this restaruant....

Located in a shabby strip mall, its appearance matches its food... old and quite frankly... terrible.

A refreshing change for establishments claiming to offer New American cuisine. The service was exceptional, a stark contrast to other reviews here. The food was outstanding with good presentation. Wine selection is equally good. All in all, a very personal and delightful experience.

great food and interesting menu that includes the usual "steak and fish".. but great game choices as well. fine dining at reasonable cost. always a great meal and chef/owner Mark D continues to change things to keep it interesting.
