Really enjoyed the sauerbraten and the goulash. Get the potato pancakes and treat yourself to one of the very good desserts. A little shabby but very good food and service. A very pleasant surprise.

Standing alone on a lonely road, Jennifer's is worth the trip to satisfy your Oma's German roots in honor of the usual artery-clogging fixins with an okay menu that brings you back in time. Their specialty German fix is all it's cracked up to be with worn surroundings, but it's the food you crave, remember?

You're dining in a friend's house nestled in the German Alps when you eat at Jennifer's. The owners are always there and make you feel like one of the family. The food is delicious; I understand desserts are the chef's specialty. You can taste for yourself. When you drive up to the house along Route 118, don't be discouraged. You'll be stepping from the driveway into a European living room.
