Top scale food in a family, friendly, comfortable setting. The staff is very accomodating and welcoming! Definitely the perfect place to have an excellent meal in a casual setting! And yes Joe, I agree with you! I feel sorry for the Karen's of the world that are so miserable! I know tons of people that go to Mezzaluna and love it, that's probably why it's packed every night!

I think Karen must have written her review about another Mezzaluna not the Scarsdale one. I have been a "regular" for 1yr & love it. "Overpriced" compared to what? We (g/f & I) split an entree...doggy bag leftovers...re-heat... have ANOTHER meal each....for $14. Overpriced. Karen must get comped elsewhere.This is an unpretentious above average family-style local neighborhood Westchester Italian restaurant. Service is exc. to everyone. Enjoy

Not sure what the big deal is about this place. It's overpriced and the food is awful. The service started out great but after our meal took 45 minutes (at a pizza place!) No one ever came over to apologize or find out how the meal was. Good thing the stale bread was reheated, at least we had something warm to munch on during our wait. Maybe the pizza is OK, but I wouldn't venture outside of that realm. Disappointing!

This was the first pizza we tried when we moved to Scarsdale. It was fine, but not a patch on the best of what the city has to offer. Average pizza, standard service, pretty functional place.
