Lovely situation in 19th century style. Service on a weekday was good and professional. The dining room we were in was kind of dark.The wine list is extensive, but with limited choices below $60. Our dinner was only fair and, therefore, overpriced. Both a salmon filet, which was dry and overcooked after being ordered "rare," and a breast of chicken, which was very dry, showed signs of not having been cooked to order. Food rating 20.

Private Party was poorly organized. A few items served were not to contract. Appetizers were very delayed. Some dishes were not served until reminded that they were part of the menu. Staff did not know what they were serving. Owner had another groups share our outdoor area without notifying us. Guests commented on poor service and poorly prepared food. The setting is lovely. Be careful - owner will agree to everything without follow through.

The food is great, but the selling point is the view, especially in the fall looking out at the changing colors of the leaves. The brunch is also highly recommended

Dining at Le Chateau is an event and an occasion. Not for every day, but well worth it.

The first time everthing was absolutely outstanding - apps, chateaubriand (amazing), and the service was awesome. The second time, we had an older waiter who seemed to forget about us fairly often, though he was nice. We ordered the mushroom timbale, and it was not good, but maybe it's just not to my liking. The chateaubriand was even better, if possible, as were the other entrees.
