Food with a bit more flair and creativity than the typical Italian place.

A local "go to" Italian restaurant. Great pizzas, pastas and other Italian entrees. Consistent and pleasant.

Very tasty European style Italian food. The restaurant's surroundings don't match its quality.

The low food rating is deceiving; this is well-executed regional Italian cuisine. Don't expect Americanized spagetti and meatballs here. Go with a traditional antipasto and a risotto dish and you won't be disappointed.

A complete HACK.----Ordered the Spaghetti carbonara, the egg was under cooked , it was sitting in a pool at the bottom of the bowl. The other person with me ordered the linguine al vongole, the clams were sandy. I could not taste any olive oil or white wine for that matter. Pasta was over cooked and yet again way too much black pepper. It they knew what they were doing, you would realize this dish calls for red pepper flakes. ---Way over rated.

Very solid northern Italian across the board. Zagat ratings here seem unfairly low. I would give it a 23 for food and decor, by Westchester standards. Not gourmet, but really good, which is high praise from us former NYC foodies. Service is fine, no complaints about that. We have been going here for years, and we keep going back.

the outside store-front is deceiving. once you go inside you'll immediately know you are in a more upscale restaurant. the owner is very welcoming and knowledgeable and has a very attentive staff. the food is genuine & I suggest asking them to pair a wine with your meal. my favorite dish is the brick oven cooked chicken - the texture is amazing and the sauce is just right. I suggest experiencing the pre-fixed course w/ wine.

We have been going to the Tuscan Oven for years and love it. I have been to Italy and find the food very authentic-especially the homemade pasta dishes.I have to disagree with 'Shawns' review.I remember this night. We were sitting next to them at the bar also waiting for a table. He was very drunk and beligerant complaining about work to his poor wife. The bartender had cut him off . She was too busy to chat to anyone except to get a drink order.
