Looks like a diner but the food is top notch. Serving sizes are typical for Chinese restaurants. We share dishes. Ingredients are fresh, vegetables crisp and sauces are tasty. The management and waitstaff are friendly, professional and anxious to please. Prices are like a diner. Quality of both Chinese and Japanese foods is very consistent. A hidden gem in mid-Westchester on 9A and easily accessed from the Taconic or Sawmill via Eastview.

The food tastes great, but there are 2 major setbacks: 1- The portions are ridiculously small, less than half of what you get in most Chinese restaurants, so forget about eating family style here; 2- No matter what the proclamations by the establishment, there is definitely MSG in the Chinese dishes- I suffer migraines every time I consume the Chinese dishes, but not the Japanese dishes, which are equally delicious.

Although it looks like a run of the mill Chinese restaurant, it is far from it. This is THE hidden gem in mid-Westchester. Dishes from China, Japan and Thailand are all expertly prepared and served with grace and efficiency. We go for the always fresh sushi, specifically the special rolls. Our top recommended are Hawthorne, Jet Li, Red Dragon and Eastern. Others go for the sashimi and still others for the excellent Chinese (the best west of Hunan Village). The servers are friendly, attentive and caring. We have never had a bad meal here. Go, but please leave a table for us.
