Skiing traditions in Saranac Lake go back to 1892. . . . over the years the old rope-tow has been replaced by a more reliable t-bar lift, which greatly increased the uphill traffic and allowed more downhill time. A comfortable lodge and ample parking allowed parental observation during day and night operation.
