Plattekill Mountain is located at 469 Plattekill Mountain Road, Roxbury, NY 12474 in Delaware County. Nestled in the heart of the Western Catskills of New York, lies home to Plattekill Mountain, featuring skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing.

At Plattekill Mountain, it's not just the big mountain terrain you'll find here, it's the small mountain charm and friendly, family-oriented, atmosphere that welcomes you when you arrive. Privately-operated by a husband and wife and their two small children, Plattekill strives to offer personalized service and cater to what they know best . . . a true family mountain experience.

At the mountain, skiers will find 35 trails to choose from, each one offering a unique feel and a little something different each run. The "Powder Puff" beginner trail is the most famous, a great 2-mile beginner cruiser with just the right pitch and for the experts, Plattekill's double diamonds offer 1100 feet of continuous vertical with pure steeps from top to bottom and some of the steepest terrain in the region.

Situated in a natural ski bowl, Plattekill's western location garners significant lake effect snows off the Great Lakes and brings Plattekill an average annual snowfall of 190" just 3 hours from NYC and 1 hour from Albany.. The snows off the lakes travel east till they hit the first biggest mountain range - that's us - and then it DUMPS! This is why Plattekill Mountain tends to get significantly more snow than neighboring mountains and even more than just one town east of us.
