Meetings for Senior Citizens are held weekly at the Community Center. Special programs, such as trips and theater excursions, are scheduled periodically. A Senior Bus provides transportation to shopping on a regular basis. It also takes Seniors to the Embassy Club in Dobbs Ferry for lunch, Monday through Friday. Senior Citizens of Bronxville, is a not-for-profit organization which provides services and programs to seniors within the 10708 zip code area. The philosophy of the organization is based on the premise that aging is a normal developmental process; that people need peers with whom they can interact and who are available as a source of encouragement.
