The Edgemont Newcomers Club is a social club serving the new and nearly-new families of the Edgemont School District in the town of Greenburgh, NY. Our activities include monthly coffee mornings, social events, as well as Playgroup for Children, Trips around Westchester County and NYC. Members are welcome to involve themselves in as few or as many activities as they like. We meet for an informal coffee morning every third Friday of the month at 9:30-11:30 am. The Scarsdale New Residents’ club is purely a social club made up of about 100 families, some who have recently moved into Scarsdale and others who have lived here for many years. Our members come from all over the world and are an eclectic mix of young and old, who all share the same common desire to meet and socialize with fellow local residents as well as find support and friendship.
We hold a coffee morning each month, run various activities such as a book club, mahjong, chick flicks and monthly cultural excursions as well as regular social events throughout the year. We have a very popular and successful toddlers group which meets twice a month and we organize several activities such as ice skating and bowling for our older children.
