The Bronx River Parkway Reservation, one of Westchester’s oldest parks, is an 807-acre paved linear park that was created as an adjunct to the Bronx River Parkway that opened in 1925. The Town of Mount Pleasant is located in central Westchester County, New York, approximately thirty miles north of New York City. The Town is bounded on the north by the Towns of New Castle and Ossining, on the south by the Town of Greenburgh, on the east by the Kensico Reservoir and the Town of North Castle and on the west by the Hudson River.

SUNY - Westchester Community College is centrally located on 218 rolling, wooded acres at 75 Grasslands Road, Valhalla, New York 10595. Courses are offered during the day, in the evening, and on the weekends, as well as at twelve convenient extension sites around the county. Many courses are available during summer sessions as well as in the fall and spring semesters. In addition to credit courses leading to associate degrees or certificates, Westchester Community College offers a full range of noncredit courses for students of all ages to sharpen their skills and broaden their interests.
Westchester Community College is fully accredited and a member of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Degrees The college offers more than 50 associate and certificate programs. We have three types of associate degrees in 36 subject areas: the Associate in Arts for students transferring to four-year institutions in the liberal arts; the Associate in Science for those transferring to four-year institutions for business, math, science or health careers; and the Associate in Applied Science for those preparing to seek immediate employment, change careers or transfer.
