Mt. Southington is a must-do winter sport for the entire family. We start young with our children’s learning area staffed by outstanding instructors to school ski clubs and competitive high school racing teams. Our Terrain Park for high-flyers is a favorite and our Flex Ticket makes it possible for skiers and boarders to choose their ski time at Mt. Southington.

Skiing
Skiing and snowboarding can be enjoyed in many ways. At areas you may see people using alpine skis, snowboards, telemark skis, cross-country skis, and other specialized equipment, such as that used by the disabled. Regardless of how you decide to enjoy the slopes, always show courtesy to others and be aware that there are elements of risk in skiing that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce.

Snowboarding
The Drop Zone, Mount Southington's terrain park, is located on the connecting trails Lift Line and Stardust. It features Big Air - rails, boxes and other fun elements. If you’re a new rider, we have quality instructors who will have you cruising the mountain in a very short time. If you’re an experienced rider, our instructors will help you hone your skills.
