Just 25 miles north of New York City, lies a historic medieval castle, overlooking the majestic Hudson River. The Castle on the Hudson, situated on 11 hilltop acres, was originally called Carrollcliffe and later Axe Castle. The grounds are enclosed by a stone wall and support a veritable arboretum of evergreens and rare varieties of trees, grasslands and flowers.
The Castle has changed very little in its first century. Much of the original interior woodwork and furnishings, which were built by a team of carpenters brought from Germany, still remain intact. Designed for graceful living and entertaining, the Castle has been renovated into a luxury hotel. Its individually styled suites incorporate the unique amenities including fireplaces and turret alcoves. In 1981, the town of Tarrytown designated the Castle a historic landmark, protecting the outside structure from ever being changed.
The Equus restaurant and General's bar, open to the public, occupy elegantly appointed rooms and an enclosed veranda with splendid views of the Hudson River and the New York City skyline. Press "Blue Button" for menus, photos, and more about The Castle on the Hudson.

The Westchester Catering Guide
The Westchester Catering Guide offers a list of Caterers in Westchester County. Find a local Caterer in Armonk, Chappaqua, Mount Kisco, White Plains, or your town in Westchester County. The Caterer should meet all of your catering needs in order to successfully cater your Corporate or Private event. Bat Mitzvahs
Christenings
Special Anniversary Dates
Weddings
Catering services often include organizing an entire event; from selecting the table cloth and flowers through to music selection and cuisine choices. Your Caterer is your event planner: from venue, entertainment, cuisine, color scheme, through to dessert and types of coffee served.
Once you've decided on who will cater your event, you should be able to set aside any concerns regarding your special occasion and know that your Caterer will attend to every detail.

Florists
Any item that deem important to the success of your Catered Affair.
Catering Tips
Do you want an "all inclusive Caterer" that supplies the venue, cuisine, valet service, flowers, entertainment, and anything else necessary to make your event successful?
Do you want to select your venue and bring in a Caterer to coordinate details from tablecloth selection to the final note of music?
Do you want a Caterer that can work on a pre-defined budget?
Does your Caterer work on a price-per-guest schedule or do they itemize some components of your event such as entertainment, flowers, valet service in addition to the price-per-guest cost?
When selecting your Caterer and for "peace of mind" check the following list:
Caterer is licensed and insured
Caterer's Better Business Bureau rating
Stop-by and see one or more catered events in-progress by the company chosen to cater your event.
Review the selected venue and walk the event site from beginning of event to the end of event.
Review food options:
Is food prepared on-site? If food is not prepared at the selected venue, how long does the food have to travel?
Check the policy for leftover food.
How are gratuities decided?
What is the cancellation policy?
Any other steps involved in the preparation and execution of your event.
Select a Caterer from our list of Caterers in the Westchester Catering Directory within
