About the Rotary Club of Ossining Sevice above Self is the motto of Rotary. At both the international and local level, we work on projects that address important issues while fostering peace and friendship. Every club is expected to address each of four Avenues of Service:

Community Service
Rotarians identify needs in our community and address them through grants and service projects. Among our achievements are:

  • Yearly distribution of dictionaries to all third graders in public and parochial schools

  • Support of Ossining youth through the OHS Interact Club

  • Awarding of Volunteer of the Year recognition annually

  • Annual support of Brookside School’s Storytelling Festival

  • Providing thousands of dollars in grants annually to community organizations such as the Ossining Food Bank.
