In contrast to some of its neighbors, the town, Westchester's smallest in population density, has marked its topography with stone walls and narrow county roads. While driving through Pound Ridge you will often pass brooks, ponds, and lakes. Pound Ridge has 2 and 3 acre zoning, with many homes on much larger property, and is home to large tracts of undeveloped land such as the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.
